Maitake Mushroom Dual Extract- Organic Vodka
Found growing in temperate hardwood forests, Maitake (Grifola frondosa) has been the subject of studies worldwide and is known for supporting normal cell growth. Rich in 1,3, 1,4 and 1,6 beta-D glucans, Maitake is a delicious, edible species, with a long history of traditional use.
Level-Up & Ripple Maitake extract uses wild harvested Maitake from PA forests, organic vodka and spring water. My daughters and I are members of the Western Pa Mushroom Club and we regularly hunt and forage mushrooms together as a family. We ethically forage and believe in an honorable harvest as to not take too much.

DUAL EXTRACT TINCTURES
Dual Extract Tinctures are a liquid extract made by steeping fresh mushrooms in alcohol. After about 6 weeks, the mushroom material is strained out, and the alcohol extract is set aside. The leftover mushrooms are boiled for hours with spring water until there's a small amount of a water extract left. The water extract is then combined with the alcohol and a small amount of fresh alcohol is added to top it off and make sure its preserved. Tinctures are the most concentrated form of herbal medicine.
Tinctures are best taken under the tongue where they directly enter the bloodstream. They are very strong and may be taken diluted in water, juice or tea. Avoid liquids for 10-15 minutes afterwards.
Check with your doctor to be sure the mushrooms do not interfere with your medications. Some herbs are not recommended during pregnancy.
